Judi over at Lines Composed has given me two awards...again. Thanks Judi!
The first one is the Kreativ Blogger Award.
This award is pretty much the same as the others...which means you have to list seven things about yourself that people might not know. So here goes...
1. My grandfather had nickames for all of his grandkids and mine was "Cricket". 2. I pretty much hate ALL fruits and vegetables...it sucks! 3. I used to want to be an actress even though I'm painfully shy. 4. I pretty much hate all reality TV shows. 5. I do 99.9% of my blogging while at work. 6. My best friend, Sarah, calls me Shemamy or Shemaymay (not really sure where that came from) and her husband, Brent, calls me Shenasty and their kids call me May May (which came from Shemaymay) and now that nickname has transferred to other friends having their kids know me as May May. 7. I do not drink Alcohol...AT ALL! I absolutely hate the smell and taste of it.
Now, in no particular order, I will nominate seven Kreativ Bloggers...
Here are the rules for accepting this Blog Award:1. Thank the person(s) who nominated you for this award. (check)
2. Copy the logo and place it on your blog. (check)
3. Link to the person(s) who nominated you for this award. (check)
4. List seven things about yourself people might not know.
5. Nominate seven Kreativ Bloggers.
6. Post links to the seven blogs you nominate.
7. Leave a comment on the seven blogs you nominate so they know they have been nominated.
On to the second award...
To be honest, I'm not really sure what to do with this award. Wait. Is it even an award? What is it for??
Hmmm... It sure is pretty though... :)
I guess the people I nominated for the Kreativ Blogger award can have this queen one too...I guess... But seriously how many Queen Bloggers can we have in one universe?
So, I have recently been neglecting my blog (minus the video posting I have been doing every week). And I just wanted to say sorry, Internet! I haven't had much to say...and nothing exciting has happened to me in the past few weeks. I'm leading a very uneventful life these days. But I'm hoping that will change soon... :)
Last week was a sad week, my super sweet 92 year old boss passed away last Monday. So sad. He was the sweetest guy. I ate lunch in the break room with him every day at work and every day he asked how my dog was doing. He would bring me different books of his to read because he knew I liked to read during my lunch break. He has probably given me over a hundred different books to read in the past three years. Every Friday afternoon, he always joked around saying that it was Thursday and not Friday and that I would have to come in to work the next day. He also used to joke around saying if I didn't have any orders going out that day then I would have to stay the night! I'm going to miss him!
Last week I found out that I have B12 Deficiency Anemia which explains why my legs and arms have been going completely numb, why I am tired all the time and why I get headaches every day, etc...it's nice to finally have answers. Now I just have to take a pill every day. What a relief! :)
In other news, I'm meeting 2 (count that 1...2...) potential roommates this week. One on Tuesday and one on Thursday and I'm so relieved. I've spent the past couple of months looking and this is our first time to actually set up a time to meet someone...I've been stressing out...
I'll let you know how it turns out!!
I had a very productive weekend. I deep cleaned my house from top to bottom and I also rented a Rug Doctor and cleaned my carpets. My awesome brother also came and repaired the hole in my wall that my dumb dog chewed through and I must say I am impressed...the wall looks good as new!! My house looks great and is ready for the potential roommates to come and see where they could be living.
Now I just need to have our landscaper come and take care of the yard...if only he were reliable... I have had some bad luck with landscapers. We have gone through a total of seven landscapers. SEVEN!!!! How hard is it to do the job you are paid to do?!?!? Seriously!! Anyone in the Austin area a reliable landscaper??
Went to church last night for the first time in like three months. Not really sure why I stopped going in the first place but it felt great to be back. I have missed the Stone! I'm so glad Brent and Sarah changed their Sunday schedule so they could go with me to the 7:00 service!!
I'm in desperate need of a vacation. The last go-out-of-town vacation I had was back in 2006 when I went on a cruise... THREE YEARS AGO!! Boy does it suck to be broke... :) Anybody want to chip in to send me on a vacation?!? ;)
Okay, I think that is enough rambling for now...until next time...
I took out the "funny" in Wednesday's Funny Video because I don't have a funny one this week.
Instead I'm going to post the new New Moon movie trailer.
I'm sooooo excited for this movie!
On Saturday night (of the weekend that this movies comes out), I will have a Twilight viewing party (with dinner) at my house and then we will go to a late showing as a group to see the New Moon movie. I can't wait!!
Movies:1. Twilight (Obviously.)
2. Mean Girls
3. Raise Your Voice
4. The Prince and Me
5. Ten Things I Hate About You
6. Win A Date With Tad Hamilton
7. Now and Then (Oh my Devon!)
8. Bring It On (So sad!)
9. The Faculty
10. Hannah Montana: The Movie (Yeah, that's right...I said it.)
Music:1. Don't Stop Believin by the cast of Glee
2. Boom Boom Pow by Black Eye Peas
3. I Gotta Feeling by Black Eye Peas
4. The Climb by Miley Cyrus (Yeah, I know...)
5. Love Story by Taylor Swift
6. No Air by Jordin Sparks
7. Battlefield by Jordin Sparks
8. Realize by Colbie Caillat
9. Umbrella by Marie Digby
10. Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus (This is the hardest one to admit. I blame the Bobby Bones Show on KISS FM.)
This Labor Day weekend we hung out at Brent and Sarah's house...but first my mom, Christina, Addie and Sarah came over to my house so we could bake some goodies.
After we ate, we played Scotland Yard (BEST GAME EVER!) and Charades.
It was a great, fun-filled night! The end.
P.S. I kind of dropped the ball...again...with Project 365. But in my defense my camera has not been working too well... I plan to buy a new fancy one with my Christmas bonus...hopefully.
I work in an office with only men. It's a small office with only seven employees (including me).
This morning I was in the bathroom and all of a sudden my male coworker started talking to me through the bathroom door. SAY WHAT??? He told me I had a customer holding on the phone and then he started to tell me what exactly the customer needed...WHILE I WAS GOING TO THE BATHROOM!!!
HELLO?!? I'M SITTING ON THE FRICKIN TOILET!!
Who wants to have a conversation with a male coworker while sitting on the toilet???? Sure as heck not me...
Apparently, bathroom time is no longer "me" time.
P.S. The women's bathroom we have is not one of those with several stalls...oh no...it's one that you just walk in and there's the toilet.
I am pleased to announce the winner of the juliasews bag is.......CONNIE!! (Comment #14) Connie said...

Connie has emailed me her address and the bag has been ordered and will be shipped directly to her. Congratulations Connie! I hope you enjoy the juliasews bag as much as I do!! :) Sidenote: There aren't that many bags to choose from right now on juliaswes because she has a nine month old baby and she just moved to a new house but she has plans to make more and post them soon. So keep checking back!
Hope y'all are having a great week!! :)
PS. You should go check out Connie's blog: she is super sweet, hilarious and takes awesome photos!
