2. I pretty much hate ALL fruits and vegetables...it sucks!

5. I do 99.9% of my blogging while at work.

Ramblings

So, I have recently been neglecting my blog (minus the video posting I have been doing every week). And I just wanted to say sorry, Internet! I haven't had much to say...and nothing exciting has happened to me in the past few weeks. I'm leading a very uneventful life these days. But I'm hoping that will change soon... :)


Last week was a sad week, my super sweet 92 year old boss passed away last Monday. So sad. He was the sweetest guy. I ate lunch in the break room with him every day at work and every day he asked how my dog was doing. He would bring me different books of his to read because he knew I liked to read during my lunch break. He has probably given me over a hundred different books to read in the past three years. Every Friday afternoon, he always joked around saying that it was Thursday and not Friday and that I would have to come in to work the next day. He also used to joke around saying if I didn't have any orders going out that day then I would have to stay the night! I'm going to miss him!

Last week I found out that I have B12 Deficiency Anemia which explains why my legs and arms have been going completely numb, why I am tired all the time and why I get headaches every day, etc...it's nice to finally have answers. Now I just have to take a pill every day. What a relief! :)

In other news, I'm meeting 2 (count that 1...2...) potential roommates this week. One on Tuesday and one on Thursday and I'm so relieved. I've spent the past couple of months looking and this is our first time to actually set up a time to meet someone...I've been stressing out...

I had a very productive weekend. I deep cleaned my house from top to bottom and I also rented a Rug Doctor and cleaned my carpets. My awesome brother also came and repaired the hole in my wall that my dumb dog chewed through and I must say I am impressed...the wall looks good as new!! My house looks great and is ready for the potential roommates to come and see where they could be living.

Now I just need to have our landscaper come and take care of the yard...if only he were reliable... I have had some bad luck with landscapers. We have gone through a total of seven landscapers. SEVEN!!!! How hard is it to do the job you are paid to do?!?!? Seriously!! Anyone in the Austin area a reliable landscaper??

Went to church last night for the first time in like three months. Not really sure why I stopped going in the first place but it felt great to be back. I have missed the Stone! I'm so glad Brent and Sarah changed their Sunday schedule so they could go with me to the 7:00 service!!

I'm in desperate need of a vacation. The last go-out-of-town vacation I had was back in 2006 when I went on a cruise... THREE YEARS AGO!! Boy does it suck to be broke... :) Anybody want to chip in to send me on a vacation?!? ;)

Labor Day

This Labor Day weekend we hung out at Brent and Sarah's house...but first my mom, Christina, Addie and Sarah came over to my house so we could bake some goodies.

True Story

I work in an office with only men. It's a small office with only seven employees (including me).

This morning I was in the bathroom and all of a sudden my male coworker started talking to me through the bathroom door. SAY WHAT??? He told me I had a customer holding on the phone and then he started to tell me what exactly the customer needed...WHILE I WAS GOING TO THE BATHROOM!!!

HELLO?!? I'M SITTING ON THE FRICKIN TOILET!!

Who wants to have a conversation with a male coworker while sitting on the toilet???? Sure as heck not me...

Apparently, bathroom time is no longer "me" time.

P.S. The women's bathroom we have is not one of those with several stalls...oh no...it's one that you just walk in and there's the toilet.
