Hello. My name is Amy. I'm 28 years old and I am addicted to the Twilight series.
Seriously addicted. I have read the entire series three times each and now in preparation for the movie to come out next month, I recently started re-reading New Moon for the fourth time. Seriously, how pathetic am I? (Don't answer that!!)
I recently read the Hunger Games series and had a friendly debate with my best friend, Sarah, about which series is better. I was on the side of Hunger Games but I think it was because I had just read it and it was still fresh in my mind, whereas the last time I read the Twilight series was sometime last year. So, re-reading New Moon has refreshed my memory and now I'm here to say that I was wrong. The Twilight series is so much better and anyone else who thinks differently is absolutely crazy!
I was reading during my lunch break today the part where Bella goes to a movie with Mike and Jacob and it made me happy and somewhat giddy. (Again, pathetic. I know.) And it got me really excited about the fact that the movie comes out in 28 days!! I'm also really excited about the Twilight party that I'm hosting at my house that weekend. First, we will have a potluck dinner and watch Twilight and then we will go see a late showing of New Moon. (Unfortunately, I won't be able to go all out for this party like I did for the Twilight DVD release party I hosted. I'm too poor!!)
I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!!
Anyone else excited about New Moon coming out in 28 days?
There aren't any rules or instructions that came with this award, so I'm just going to give them to the blogs that I love and check every day and I'm also going to give it to the new blogs that I just started reading!! Go check them out...especially Anastasia's blog!
And I would have given it to Vintage Vixen but Anastasia already beat me to it!! :)
I hope you ladies enjoy your new award!!!
P.S. I just wanted to let you know that the reason why I haven't been commenting on all of your blogs from the past week is because I was sick.... I was sick for NINE frickin' days!! I had bronchitis and the beginning stages of pneumonia! I'm somewhat better now and hope to catch up on all of the blogs I missed last week!!

This book is so hard to put down. I'm looking forward to my lunch break today, just so I can start reading again...
Seriously, you should go check out this series. Thanks to Busy Bee Lauren for the tip!!
Here is a little bit of what the books are about...if you are interested. Twenty-four are forced to enter. Only the winner survives.
In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. Each year, the districts are forced by the Capitol to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the Hunger Games, a brutal and terrifying fight to the death – televised for all of Panem to see.
Survival is second nature for sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who struggles to feed her mother and younger sister by secretly hunting and gathering beyond the fences of District 12. When Katniss steps in to take the place of her sister in the Hunger Games, she knows it may be her death sentence. If she is to survive, she must weigh survival against humanity and life against love.
Sarah, Christina and I went and saw The Boys Are Back on Saturday night and I thought it was really good. I don't really have much to say about the movie but that I loved it. I give it a B+.
One thing I can tell you though is that I am sometimes clueless. I noticed a couple of things that were off in the movie but it took me a while to put all the pieces together...
While watching the movie, there was a scene where Clive Owen goes off by himself to cry after his wife dies and I noticed that the rolling hills behind him were brown and I remember thinking "Hmmm, England was not having a good year that year." I couldn't remember ever seeing England so brown before and I thought it was weird but I didn't dwell on it.
Then Clive Owen drops his son off at school where they were having show and tell and one of the kids brought his pet kangaroo and I remember thinking "Hmmm, that's weird. I know some people have some exotic pets but I have never heard of someone in England having a pet kangaroo." But again...I didn't dwell on it.
Then when Clive Owen goes to pick up his older son from the airport (who flew out of London) he asked him how the flight was and the kid responded with "Long" and I remember thinking "Hmmm, that's weird. England isn't that big. If you fly from London to another part in England it wouldn't be considered a 'long' flight." But again...I didn't dwell on it.
Then the older son mentioned that he read that they have the most poisonous animals there and that's when it dawned on me.... Oh, they are in Australia!!
I am an idiot.
Ha ha. Just watched the preview again. I feel like an idiot all over again. The terrain shown in the previews is obviously Australia and NOT England. :)
I absolutely love this show!! I love the characters, I love the singing and I love that you can purchse the songs on iTunes!! If you haven't watched it yet go online at fox.com and watch the first five episodes.
I covet this girl's voice! Seriously, I want it so bad!!!!
Update: So I had six videos posted of my favorite clips of this show but one-by-one they were being removed from youtube, so I just decided to delete them all.
