Ramblings

Hmm, I think its been awhile since I have done a "Ramblings" blog post and I guess its about that time to torture you and catch you up... (you're welcome!)

Rambling #1
So, I know I have been a little MIA in regards to this blog and commenting on your blogs but I was out of commission for a few days this past week & weekend. It started last Wednesday, when I met my mom for lunch at Mighty Fine. I woke up that morning with my neck hurting and by the end of lunch I could barely move my head in any direction. It freaked me out a bit so I called my doctor and they ran some bloodwork to make sure I didn't have an infection in my spine and took some xrays but as it turned out I apparently tore a muscle in my neck. They gave me some muscle relaxers and steroids for the inflammation and I took the rest of the week off of work (minus a couple of hours on Friday). Its Monday and I'm finally able to move my head around easier. I can now turn my head without making my whole body turn with it. Hooray!

I'm really excited about a custom necklace that etsy seller (and blogger friend) Valerie at spunkandsass is making for me! I can't wait to get it and show you pictures of its awesomeness.

I have my eye on this ring but sadly my fingers are too big for it. :)

I just got my income tax recently and I can't decide if I want to be responsible and pay off some debt or buy some new bedroom furniture at Ikea. Suggestions?

Crazy Video

This video is crazy!!!

My cousin, Christina, sent this video to me yesterday and about 4 minutes into it I was thinking why the crap did she send this to me. And then a little further into it I started sobbing - but it could be because of the Muscle Relaxers I was on.

Anyway, it's pretty gruesome but stick it out because it does have a happy, crazy ending.

Hint: No animal dies.

It's a boy!

Congratulations to my baby brother and sister-in-law!



They just found out today that they are having a boy!

This will be my first time to be an aunt and I can't wait to meet the little guy in June!

Excited

I took the plunge and bought Photoshop last night.

It really hurt my heart to pay almost $400 for software but I know it will be worth it in the end.

I'm so excited. I can't wait for it to come in so I can play around with the pictures I have already taken. Yay!!

PS. If anyone is in the Austin area and wants their picture taken for free...let me know because I really need the practice.
