Bonjour blogueurs

As you can see from my title... I'm trying to
learn French. Ashley and I are looking for a
French tutor to teach us but until then we
are using youtube videos to learn the basics.

Bonjour!

Currently, my favorite thing to say in French is "Bonsoir"

which means Good Evening. My next favorite thing to

say is "I eat fish" (Je mange du poisson). It's fun to say. 

I like the way fish is pronounced. :)

Anyway, I just wanted to post an update on what's been 

going on in my life...since I've been a little MIA recently!

First, as I've mentioned before I'm trying to learn French.

Second, I'm really excited about taking Ashley to a

Brooke Fraser concert for her birthday on Nov 10th.

Third, I really do want to try getting back on

track with keeping up with everyone's blog.

Fourth, I've made it to my 400th post and

am considering hosting another giveaway.

Anyone have a preference on the prize?

I'm taking suggestions.

Anyone want to donate to the cause?

Fifth, I'm really excited about the upcoming holidays this year.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite times of the year.

(But I'm pretty sure everyone feels that way!)

I'm looking forward to seeing baby

Josiah experience his first Christmas!!

He is going to be spoiled rotten this year!

Ok, maybe not rotten but definitely spoiled...

Bloopers

So, I finally finished the fourth season of Prison Break. Yay!

(Ashley and I had taken a little break in between season three and season four.)

This show was so good and now I'm sad it's over. :(

Anyway, I noticed in the fourth season a pretty
major blooper and thought I would share it with
you because it made me laugh every time I saw it.

If you don't know what the show is about...it is about a guy

who robs a bank and gets caught on purpose. He goes to prison

with the intent of helping his brother (who is on death row) escape.

Before he goes to prison, he gets this ginormous tattoo

put on both of his arms, his stomach and his back.

There is a purpose for this tattoo but I don't want to give anything away so I won't say why he has it...

Here is what his tattoo looks like:

So, as we were watching the fourth (and last)
season of Prison Break I noticed something...

A MAJOR BLOOPER!

I will let the pictures do the talking.

Say what?

Where are his tattoos?
Did he have them removed while he was on the run?
Did they magically disappear?
Did FOX hope that everyone would forgot about his tattoos?
Did FOX get lazy?

Hilarious!!

Half Full Friday

I am so happy it is FRIDAY!!!

It seems like this month is flying by...

which makes me happy because it brings us that

much close to Thanksgiving and Christmas!!

I am so happy that Brent and Sarah had the
chance on Wednesday to officially adopt Whitaker!

I am so happy that the weather has been 

absolutely beautiful every day this week!!

I am so happy that I get to have a girl's

spa night at my house tomorrow night!!!

I am so happy that the weekend is finally here!!
Woo hoo!! Hip-hip-hooray!

Welcome to the Family!

So, I know I told you in a previous post the story of little

Hudson and how he was adopted by the two coolest

people in the entire world... Brent and Sarah.

Well...

They are officially adopting their third child.

The adoption ceremony is today and we are

thrilled to welcome little Whitaker to the family!!!

I'm back... I guess

So, as you can see I took a little (unintentional) break from blogging...

As I have mentioned before I do 90% of my blogging at work. Well... something has taken my attention away from the blog world and that something is called Nook. Nook was created by Barnes and Noble and is a program that lets you read books on your computer - you can also download the program to either your  iTouch, iPad or iPhone.

Because of this new beloved discovery, in the past couple of weeks, I have been spending my free time at work reading books instead of writing blogs or reading your blogs. And it's because of this awesome program that I have read 14 books in the month of September alone. It is putting me that much closer to a 100 books in a year goal. I'm now at 46 books read so far this year.

Well my time of reading a new book on Nook every day has sadly come to an end...it had become a very expensive habit!!

So now I'm back and I'm so sorry I ditched all of you.

I definitely plan to take next week to get caught up on all of your blogs. And maybe I can start posting more blogs.......blogs that aren't book reviews. :)
