Just wanted to let everyone know I'm going to be MIA for the next few days.
Just found out last night that the house I am currently renting has been foreclosed. The owner has been taking rent from us and he doesn't even own the house anymore. We just got a notice from a lawyer that in order for us to receive compensation - we have to move out by November 8th. YIKES!!
With mine and Ashley's cruise coming up in a week...that doesn't give us much time to find a new house and move in to it by November 8th.
So instead of blogging - I will be house hunting.
I must say I'm really sad right now. I have lived in that house for five years. And I love love love living five houses down from my best friend and her family. I'm going to hate that I can't just walk down to her house anytime I want. I will also hate moving because right now I have the master bedroom and park in the garage...because I have lived there the longest. Now when we all move together that excuse isn't going to work anymore. :(
I have a realtor looking for a new house we can lease...one that we can move into by November 8th. We may go look at a couple of them on Saturday afternoon. Wish us luck!!
I'll keep you updated.
PS. Cross your fingers for us that we get a good amount of compensation.
(The minimum will be at least $3,000)

Oh man! That sucks! I hope your find something quickly.
That's awful! I'm so sorry to hear that :-( As for the m-bedroom and garage parking, how will you handle that? Will you guys just have to decide amongst yourselves, or will whoever ends up with it have to pay more in rent? My husband did something like that - he got the bigger bedroom (no garage parking), but had to pay more in rent. Good luck with the search!
