As my christmas present, she tooke me to lunch at one of my favorite restaurants. Then she took me to get my makeup done at MAC and then bought me the makeup they used.
It was great they showed me how to apply the makeup and then had me try it. Now I know how to apply eye makeup the right way. Super excited to try it out. Now I just need somewhere to go... :)

Afterwards, we went to see the movie New Years.
It was a great day!!!

I don't really have anything constructive to add where make up is concerned, but the movie thing I kind of get. I haven't gone to see a movie with 80 celebrities in it since I saw He's Just Not That Into You. I didn't like that one and kind of decided from there that just because they pack that many big names into two hours doesn't mean it's gonna be a good movie. Though, to be fair, it's possible that I just didn't like He's Just Not That Into You because I'm a guy.
I used to be exclusively a MAC girl, but I've started branching out. They still have some of the best stuff, and it's not nearly as expensive as the other high-end brands.
