Recently, I have seen two different movies that have the two main actresses do a choreographed dance together.

Movie #1:
Somthing Borrowed

Love this!

Movie #2:
Bridesmaids
Sorry, I couldn't find a video clip. The part I'm talking about is at the very end of the movie. Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig lipsync and dance to a song. I thought it was the funniest part in the movie.

PS. It was the only thing I loved about the movie. I am not a fan of crude humor. I hate it. And I was unaware that this was a Judd Apatow movie. That would have been my first clue...


Anyway, when I watched these scenes in the movie I remembered being so sad and wondering why my best friend (Sarah) and I never had a song growing up that we could dance a choreographed dance to. Sarah? What's wrong with us? Why didn't we find a song and dance that we could learn together and still remember now that we are almost 30? Huh? I'm so sad for us. I feel like we are missing out on something amazing.

Here is what I propose we do:
1. We find a song from our elementary or middle school years.
(one that is obviously from the late 80's or early 90's)
2. We create a choreographed dance to go with it.
3. And if anyone asks...we tell them that one night at one of our slumber parties when we were just kids we created this dance together. Sound good?  

All right. Problem solved.

This was back in 2001 so I don't remember all of the details. I just remember a lot of things going wrong that night but we all just went with it...well, except for my boyfriend.
